I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. On the other hand, a well made pair of glasses can last a long time and feel comfortable all day. Sometimes a store looks great in ads but the real product is completely different. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. If they reply politely and give detailed answers, I feel more relaxed.
Just sharing my personal feedback. |
